THE GOAL of the
ZUMBA Basic Steps Workshop I is for participants to
feel more comfortable with basic ZUMBA
movements, so they
can enjoy all the ZUMBA benefits during their next class,
rather than having to focus on “how it’s done”. Steps will
be broken down and explained slowly to allow participants to
focus on their footwork, arm movement and posture. |

Degenerative Disease RP
1.5 hours of Salsa,
Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and all your other ZUMBA favorites!
I recently heard of a Retinal Degenerative Disease RP,
because a couple of our ZUMBA students have it. I could not
believe it when they told me that more than 10 million Americans
of every age and race suffer vision loss from these blinding
diseases.
Apparently RP and Usher syndrome are inherited diseases commonly
diagnosed during childhood or young adulthood. RP causes severe
vision loss leading to legal and/or complete blindness. Children
with Usher syndrome are born with varying degrees of deafness
and later develop RP.
We want to support them and raise money for their participation
in VISIONWALK 2008, a big step in boosting research for retinal
degenerative diseases, hosted by The Foundation Fighting
Blindness, Inc.
I am asking you to
help us by simply “Dancing for a Cause”
at our Fundraising
Zumbathon!

We are asking for a
$15 minimum participation fee.
The urgent mission of The Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc. is
to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments
and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa (RP),
macular degeneration, Usher Syndrome, and the entire spectrum of
retinal degenerative diseases.
